KLANGLICHT IM PARK - The Sound of Light is an artistic light and sound experience in the Schwarzenberg Garden near the Belvedere. Along an atmospheric path, visitors discover a series of stations combining light, sound, art and nature.

Where does KLANGLICHT IM PARK take place?
The festival takes place in the Schwarzenberg Garden in Vienna — right next to the world-famous Belvedere. A dedicated page with directions and arrival information is available on the website.

How long does a visit take?
The experience is designed as a walk through the garden. The exact duration may vary depending on your pace, how long you spend at the individual stations and the number of visitors on site. We recommend allowing enough time — at least 1 to 1.5 hours — to enjoy the light and sound installations at a relaxed pace.

Does KLANGLICHT IM PARK take place in all weather conditions?
KLANGLICHT IM PARK is an outdoor experience and generally also takes place in winter weather. Please wear warm clothing and suitable, non-slip footwear.
Tickets, admission and cancellation

How do timeslot tickets work?
A timeslot ticket is required for your visit. Your booked timeslot indicates the time window during which you can enter the festival. Depending on the day, timeslots start at 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm and are offered every 30 minutes until 9:00 pm.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available online from the official shop at shop.klanglichtimpark.at. There you can choose your preferred date, timeslot and number of tickets.

Can I also buy tickets at the box office on the evening of the event, or only online?
Tickets can also be purchased at the box office. The box office opens at the start of the first time slot each day.

Can I redeem vouchers?
Yes, vouchers can be redeemed in the ticket shop when booking timeslot tickets.

What happens if my booked date is cancelled?
If a booked event day has to be cancelled, we will provide information through the channels announced on the website. In this case, subject to availability, you will be offered a rebooking for another date, a refund or a voucher solution.

Are there toilets on site, and are they accessible?
Yes. Toilets are available and fully accessible.

Will there be food and drinks on site?
Food and drinks will be available before and during the walk. After the tour, there will also be an opportunity to let the experience linger in an atmospheric setting. Further details about the on-site offer will be announced on the website in good time.

How is the lighting along the path? Is the route also safe for older people?
The path is clearly marked with lighting to ensure safe and easy navigation, making the route suitable and safe for older visitors as well.
Accessibility and mobility

Is the site accessible?
We are preparing the grounds so that the walk can be completed without stairs. Please note, however, that this is a historic park, and some slopes may be part of the route. Assistance will be available on site if needed. More detailed accessibility information will be published in good time before the opening. Yes. Strollers are permitted.

Are visitors allowed to move freely around the entire park grounds?
We kindly ask for your understanding that, due to park maintenance, visitors must stay on the marked paths.

Is KLANGLICHT IM PARK suitable for children?
KLANGLICHT IM PARK is designed for a wide audience and is explicitly suitable for children. As it takes place outdoors in autumn and winter, we recommend warm clothing, suitable footwear and age-appropriate adult supervision.

Are pets allowed on site?
We kindly ask for your understanding that, in order to protect and maintain the park grounds, no animals are permitted on the premises, with the exception of assistance dogs.
