KLANGLICHT IM PARK - The Sound of Light is an artistic light and sound experience in the Schwarzenberg Garden near the Belvedere. Along an atmospheric path, visitors discover a series of stations combining light, sound, art and nature.
-
Is KLANGLICHT IM PARK a traditional illuminated garden experience?
KLANGLICHT IM PARK takes an artistic approach of its own. The exhibition brings together selected artworks that use light and sound to engage with the unique character of the Schwarzenberg Garden. Some installations make an immediate impression; others invite visitors to look closer, listen and linger. The garden itself is an essential part of the experience.
-
What will visitors experience?
Visitors will enjoy an immersive walk through the illuminated park, where art, sound, light, and nature come together. The installations create a unique atmosphere and invite visitors to explore the surroundings from a different perspective. The experience is designed to be enjoyed at an individual pace.
-
How long does a visit take?
The duration depends on how much time you spend exploring the individual artworks. The route itself can be completed at a quicker pace, but we recommend allowing around 60 to 90 minutes to enjoy the installations, audio guide and atmosphere of the garden. There is no minimum time you are required to stay.
-
Is there an audio guide, and what does it offer?
Yes. At selected, clearly marked stops, the audio guide provides additional insights into the artworks, the artists and the history and nature of the Schwarzenberg Garden. We recommend using it to discover more of the ideas and stories behind the exhibition.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available online from the official shop at shop.klanglichtimpark.at. There you can choose your preferred date, timeslot and number of tickets.

We are preparing the grounds so that the walk can be completed without stairs. Please note, however, that this is a historic park, and some slopes may be part of the route. Assistance will be available on site if needed. More detailed accessibility information will be published in good time before the opening.
